Hello colleagues! My name is Luana Ferreira Rodrigues, and I work in Paraná, Brazil. I am a PhD candidate in Forest Engineering, focusing on the planning and monitoring of ecological restoration in federal conservation units, particularly in the Irati National Forest. My work involves evaluating different restoration techniques, defining monitoring indicators, and fostering collaboration among public institutions, concessionaires, researchers, and local stakeholders.
During my doctoral studies, I am investigating the use of green manuring as a facilitation strategy for the establishment and development of native tree species in the Mixed Atlantic Forest, as well as exploring various restoration strategies.
At the ERIP Forum, I am especially interested in learning and exchanging experiences regarding restoration financing, long-term monitoring, governance, social participation, and the integration of ecological restoration with refaunation. I look forward to discovering initiatives developed across different landscapes, sharing experiences, and building potential collaborations with other professionals in the community.
