- In Peru, through the High Andean Ecosystem Restoration project, the central ecosystems of the restoration plan are: grasslands, bofedales, high Andean relic forests, and to a lesser extent, high Andean shrublands. These are located in three landscapes of the Peruvian sierra: the Ancash Landscape, the Pasco-Junín Landscape, and the Nor Yauyos Cochas Landscape.
